Imagine the wedding of your dreams
When my husband and I finally decided to tie the knot, we had no idea the amount of overwhelming work that was ahead of us to make the day perfect.
Now that our day of bliss is over, I would like to help with information and helpful links to make your wedding day planning as easy as possible, yet still ensure that it is the day of your dreams.
The First Step:
Discuss your budget. While this is a scary task, it lets you know what is affordable, or what is wishful thinking. While Brett and I did not necessarily do this part up front, we did adhere to how much of each check would go towards our wedding.
- Remember that the largest part of your budget will be going towards the venu, the dress, photography, and DJ/Video. We were able to save some money by choosing a professional photographer that was a friend of ours. We were greatly appreciative of the decision to go with a videogropher for our wedding. We were able to see so many parts of the wedding that we were not able to appreciate that day.
If you are anything like me, you will have no idea where to look or what businesses may have the best deal for you. I found that The Wedding Channel was very useful to me, and also provided me an opportunity to post information for ALL of our guests to see, even out of state! The site also provided many key milestones and search engines to locate pictures of dresses, flowers and hairstyles. We will discuss the importance of this later.
